Tribute to my grandfather Mr. DeCarlos Wair.
Love’s Pall Bearer
Written by: Everett D. Wair Jr
If it was the only reason why I would want to get up and go to church.
Just like if it was the last thing that my grandfather said to me which was his last and final words to me that were “I Love you Pokey, Why you have not had my grandson” as the vultures of my doom roamed the space around me sort of like they were now perched?
Upon this mahogany casket waiting to be buried as I must of cried until my eyes were yet dry again.
Yeah I know what you are going to say that a grown man is not suppose to cry but for some reason when?
When my heart stopped beating the many of tears out of my soul, DeCarlos Wair you were my grandfather!
As the blood steins come to life and are the reason of a wet to my dress shirts collar.
I saw your soul get up and walk to heaven!
Was it the good of a humble nature to see the sunshine as god open up your soul as you were a new present?
To him as an angel you were here on earth to me Von although the demons they try to be strong with me and make me miss church services because they put Mrs Apnea in front of my doorstep and she keeps that door shut until I’m able to breath again and break it down and the sorrow’s turn into the eulogy?
That is spoken at my own funeral because I always thought that I would die without you and grandma, but god answered her gentle request to bring you to heaven were you belonged honestly!
Pronounced there as your heartfelt as of a life as a good person you will forever be in my heart and I love you so damn much!
So may you forever rest in peace and I love you always and I miss you very dearly grandad your heart arises and awakens in me as i finally have the courage to write again and as I conquer life with heart surgery, life with Obstructive sleep apnea no one can take away the pain from loosing you because my heart is too cold yet for anyone else to touch…
