Another fan story.
*The characters may seem out-of-true-character. Lucci changes his attitude and Kalifa seems different. Kaku is changed completely (because I don’t know him)*

“Lucci, wake up!” Spandam shouted through the door. Lucci opened his eyes to see his pet bird, Hattori, sitting on his chest. He waited til Spandam had left before getting up. He picked up his clothes and threw them on before heading out to the front area. Jayabura was sitting on a rock in his wolf form, a dead rabbit at his paws. Kalifa and Kaku were sitting at the table eating. Lucci walked past them and headed to the balcony.
‘Why am I even staying here? Ever since that Luffy defeated me, I haven’t been right. I can’t go in my leopard form anymore because I pass out and Hattori doesn’t really speak for me anymore.’ He sighed and looked at his companion. Hattori was sitting on his hand, staring at the noon sky. Lucci turned around as he heard fighting in the room behind him. There was a girl, 27 years old maybe, standing against the entrance door. Everyone was facing her. She had black hair that hung down to her shoulders, her eyes glittering like frozen amber. Her clothes were all black, except for her headband, which was a dark red. She had no weapon, but her nails were longer than normal humans. They were sharpened to a point.
Spandam burst into the room. “What is going on out here?! I’m trying to work!”
“We have an intruder.” Kaku told him. He nodded towards the girl.
Spandam turned to her. “Who are you and what are you doing here?”
She stood up straighter. Everyone noticed that she reached Lucci’s height (he was the tallest of CP9 as Blueno had disappeared). “My name is Kai. Forgive me, but I was told to come here.”
Spandam snorted. “And who told you that?”
Kai glared at him. “My captain, Bloody Kitty, ran off and abandoned her crew and her boyfriend to die. Thorn told me to come here, since my abilities seem to specialize in assignation.”
Spandam’s eyes widened. “You’re a pirate? But you’ll be joining the navy. Why risk being killed in the navy when you can die a pirate?”
