Do you have a stinky garbage disposal in your house that is stinking up the kitchen? Well here are some tips to make that go away.

• If you have just peeled a orange take the skin from it and put it down the garbage disposal before turning it on. The peels will leave behind an orange fresh scent that I personally love. The smell will last for a few hours or even a day! Please make sure that your hands are not in the garbage disposal!
• If you have some orange peels you can take some cloves and stick them into the skin of the orange, these two things mixed together make a great fresh scent. Put the orange peel, with the cloves, into the garbage disposal and then turn it on. Make sure you hands are not in the garbage disposal!!
• If you have any herbs(dried and not in a can) that smell better than your garbage disposal all you have to do it put them into the disposal before turning them on, the herbs should get mixed up and then washed down the drain the herbs should leave behind a fresh smell.
• If you have any lemon skins you can put them down the drain and turn on the garbage disposal, you can also stick a whole lemon down there without peeling it but make sure that it is cut up so that you do not break the knives in the garbage disposal.

These are just some tricks that my household knows and does to get rid of the smell. Basically all you have to do is take something that smells good, and is able to go down the drain, and put it down the drain before you turn on the garbage disposal. The substance that you put down the drain should leave behind a smell that is fresh and better than the one before, in my experience it works better than it sounds. The stinky smell should go away. The smell of the oranges and such smell a whole lot better than the previous smell.
