Michael Jackson’s Death has brought with it a certain amount of mystery, coming as it does with a suspicious set of circumstances and allusions to similarities with the death of Elvis Presley. With authorities hunting for Michael Jackson’s personal doctor, Conrad Murray, who suspiciously disappeared just after the 911 call that brought paramedics to the home of the pop singer in an attempt to resuscitate his heart, Lisa Marie Presley posted on her blog a revealing conversation she had had with the “King of Pop” while they were married.

Michael Jackson’s autopsy report was deferred Friday, according to ETOnline.com, when the coroner’s office issued a statement that the manner of death would not be determined until results from toxicology tests returned, which could take as long as four to six weeks. In a statement issued by the Los Angeles Department County Coroner’s Office, there appeared to be no sign of foul play involved in the death of Michael Jackson, nor did their autopsy results show any outside trauma to the body of the pop singer.

But reports of demorol, oxycontin, and vicodin abuse or misuse by the late singer have been rampant for years. Speculation abounds that his sudden cardiac arrest and collapse at the age of 50 was in some way induced by one or a combination of these substances.

The sudden disappearance of his personal doctor, Conrad Murray, just after the star’s collapse only heightens speculation that there was something untoward going on in the Jackson household prior to his death. Conrad Murray, who apparently administered resuscitation procedures on Michael Jackson’s body after his initial collapse (according to the 911 call) left the premises before paramedics arrived. He even left his vehicle, which was subsequently towed.

CNN reported that authorities had been in touch with Dr. Conrad Murray and an interview would take place.

But adding to the strange happenings around the death of Michael Jackson was the revelation by Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of Elvis Presley and one-time wife of Michael Jackson, that she had had a conversation with the late “King of Pop” that he feared that he would one day die just as Elvis Presley had — intimating that drugs would play a part in his death.

Lisa Marie Presley began her My Space blog with “He knew,” then went on to describe a conversation with Michael Jackson that now seems to have been portentous. At one point, she said that Jackson stated, “I am afraid that I am going to end up like him, the way he did.”

In a candid admission, Lisa Maria Presley stated on her blog that her marriage to Michael Jackson was not “a sham” as so many believed, that she truly loved him, and that she had tried to “save him from certain self-destructive behavior and from the awful vampires and leeches he would always manage to magnetize around him.” She said she had finally given up to take care of her children and herself because her “quest” left her ” very ill and emotionally/spiritually exhausted.”
