Ever wonder what the ocean thinks or how it feels about what is going on in the environment and in our world?
I crash against the shore and drag shells back to the deep. A cool breeze chills me and I reflect the moonlight this peaceful night. Nothing stirs here on this tropical island beach. In the Caribbean I feel the warm sunlight. A small portion of me is dyed red when blood is spilled from a shark attack. People enjoy themselves surfing and swimming through me in this tropical paradise, until the storm strikes. My brother has agreed with the wind to make a hurricane to get revenge on the humans for polluting. I hear people talking on radios near my shore about a hurricane and getting to safety. Some people leave in airplanes above me or in boats on me. In another part of the Caribbean I feel the hurricane displacing everything in its path and wreaking havoc. Houses, cars, and other objects are thrown into me. People are killed and buildings are destroyed. More junk is hurled into me killing some of the fish and other animals within me. I can’t believe my brother has done this.
