Stars and Profits.

I admit that Kirk Franklin, and Michael W. Smith is probably a few , of many that are true gospel artist, in term that they don’t try to link themselves, as practicing ministers. They could be called Ministers, of Music which would be acceptable in all perspectives, as opposed to present day singers pretending to be pastors.

Marvin Sapp, Fred Hammond, Smokie Norville, and many others started out, as sole singers achieving fame through their vocals to become some wealthy individuals in the field, of gospel music. Which in terms is a thriving field with a message for the people but also being manipulated, by artist to cover their monetary gains behind the tax free system that most churches operates under to grow.

Saints profit more like sinners seeking counseling every time their weakness gives in to sin. If given a historical test about the scriptures many singer/artist wouldn’t pass the test to be able to be ordain as , a pastor.

Something that good ministers constantly points out to their congregation is the fact that they came to do God business and not to entertain the saints. Which is just a rehearsed phase constantly repeated in many churches each Sunday, by pastors. Fame type singers preaching the message doesn’t hurt the ministry since they are spreading the word through lyrical music, but we must ask ourselves about their membership. Are they there to get the closeness to Christ or just to proclaim that so and so is their pastor.

Like, I said before many mega churches are just for show when the members only going to fit in and not keep that closeness in Christ, if they can only down grade the small church because, of their sides. We know some money hungry pastors are quick to say they only small because they hadn’t been in touch with God, to flourish when in reality the church that’s big can’t honestly say that the pastor/singer is the reason some people attend.

Listen to any Gospel album and notice a certain level, of snobbery in the preaching, especially if, it’s a live album , where they trying to be cheer leaders to the audience instead, of letting the audience get into the groove, of the message.

In many churches, you hear pastors when preaching  saying the phase “YOU DON’T HEAR ME” when in reality you know they  must not be doing the job, of connecting to the congregation. Why state things that is apparent to others that connecting to your message?

These millionaires pastors must have some, of the best paid accountants around unless they was able to manipulate a member into doing it for free, by saying God wanted them to build his glorious kingdom.
