As quoted from the Daily Telegraph, Darco was busy enjoying the festive New Year’s party with a girlfriend when harm befall him. The bullet penetrated the right side of his head, just behind the eye socket and lodged in the nasal cavity. 

Darco was soon rushed to the hospital due to severe bleeding. While waiting for medical treatment, youth, 28, apparently was unable to suppress a sneeze. All were stunned as she watched the metal bullet came from his right nostril, along with the sneezing. 

The result of examination showed no serious damage to the skull. However, the medical team should still be operated on the eye’s retina and removes some bone fragments from bullet. He also must undergo laser surgery to restore his eyesight. 

Darco admitted only feel sore head when a bullet penetrated his head. ”This is a very strange case and the first I know,” said Prof Sid Berrone, the surgeon who led the operation. ”He was very lucky. He could have been killed.” 

Naples famous as a city that is often tinged riots during New Year celebrations. The incident on the same day killed one person and injuring another.
