Have you noticed that every thing is abbreviated nowadays. Take care has been reduced to T and C. See you later is now ‘ c u l8r ‘. This is all due to Short Message Service known as SMS which came about because of the mobile phone phenomena.

I know what you are thinking, ‘ Rich talk from someone who calls themselves Rhythm N Time DG ‘. That is very true, at the time I thought the name was cool, hip and modern. Now we have been saturated with all this abbreviated talk. Worst of all we understand the gribble.  If we were all to take our English Language exams who would pass?

I am making a resolved to write all my letters in full whether it will be in an email, or a text message. Lets boycott the abbreviated craze and bring back the old English.
