Is the right to rule something you’re born into, or is it something that should definitely be decided by a nation’s members? When we hear monarchy, most of us assume that it’s an absolutist take on the government style — this is not always true, however. In fact, the actual monarchist family can have a lot less power than the actual deciding body of the government. Elected officials also have limited powers, but at least we can voice our opinions on the matter.
