Don’t you love money?? Because I know I do. For many reasons of course so I can buy things and stuff but I find money interesting. Since I’ve traveled to so many places I’ve seen different types of money. I collect money! I know it’s a pretty common collection but money is so fun to think about. First of all there is different languages on different types of money! I wish I could read it all, but you kind of realize what is what and all. Second the colors!!! The United States money I find kind of boring. It’s green and white, exciting… There is so much color on some kinds of money like Canadian dollars, Indonesian Rupiah, Escudos, Shekels, Pesos, Pesetas, Shillings, Dinar! There are so many names for money too, as you can see in my list of colorful money. The texture, I have a waterproof 20 peso bill! The pictures, not every country has presidents! There are queens, emperors, kings dictators, prime ministers etc! Also not only is there past rulers on the bills but there are also pictures of different things on the back, take the Canadian $5 bill, on the back there is kids playing hockey and sledding and people ice skating! An Egyptian pound has hieroglyphics and old statues, that I have actually seen in person! The 10,000 Tanzanian shilling has and elephant on it, and the 5,000 shilling bill has a rhino! Another thing that can actually get pretty confusing is how much their money is equal to what you are used to. Honestly I never really figured it out, when we lived in Israel I got 20 Shekels and I was like ooh I can buy this, not how much is this in American dollars. I’m sorry if you thought this article was going to show you how to get money or something but I had to catch your attention some how [:
