The intelligent animal- why not will we consider ourselves as monkeys? Among the entire animal kingdom, other than “man”, monkeys are the trusted specie to take care of disabled humans. For the incapable, monkeys were there to help. A so significant existence.

As the only specie that has a brain almost similar to man, we may conclude that monkeys are the most similar, if not the only, to humankind. As said in many articles, they act like man. Think like man. Walk like man. Eat like man. And maybe, cares like man. And maybe, again, unlike other men, monkeys are like man.

If you, like us, believe that God created the world and everything on it, then maybe you also believe that all things were created uniquely and special. In Bible, like in Genesis, God created man in His likeness. It is NOT, “God created Filipinos, then the Americans, then Japanese and so on.” It is just MAN. Man.

Hence, If it is then that they look like monkeys, don’t you?

What a great monkeys are they who know how to defend their country? Who knows how to find food for their starving family? Who knows how to save lives from a flooding city? Who knows how to love and share? Who fights and die for freedom and democracy? What a great monkeys are they?

It’s tiring to always run away from what people are throwing to you. What about throws of garments they just taken off? They may stink for they have been wearing them for so long already. Yes, indeed, no one can throw something that they do not hold. And when you are holding something, it means, “it belongs to you.”

Let me ask, who again did say that the monkeys are these somebody?
