More adjustments to the British defense budget and the possible deprogramming of 55 Eurofighter Typhoon.

The UK Armed Forces face in the short term annual budget cuts a figure more than 1 billion pounds, above the cuts already announced in October, was learned today.

It is a “nightmare” the situation to be resolved by the Ministry of Defence, especially considering a budget drop than expected. Michael Clarke, director of the Royal United Services Institute, thinks that “the revision of Defense has not made enough effort. ” The funds required and available for the next few years could have a deficit of up to 2000 million pounds, in a situation described by Clarke as untenable.

In the current revision of the defense budget, close to the 38,000 million pounds, be charged 7.5% reductions in the next 4 years, but in itself it poses a lower deployment of armed forces by 2020, but even that could be done only with a budget increase to the highest military leaders.

It was noted that 55 RAF Eurofighter Typhoon Tranche desprogramaria 1 of only 3 years old and worth more than the 4500 million pounds because of not having the funds to modernize.

There is a major political confrontation between the current responsibilities and previous efforts in the MoD.
