Man – his muscles and bones are working as machines.

You can tell when someone is happy or sad by looking at his or her face can’t you? Our expressions are formed due to the movements of our face muscles.

The muscles in the upper arm called biceps and triceps. Biceps are used to flex the arm and triceps are used to extend the arm.

The vibrations of the vocal cords production sound. This helps us to talk to people.

Man is always working. He moves his body in all time for works.

When we pick up a book to read or walk to the bus stop we move different parts of our body to do these actions.

Our body moves with the help of muscles which are fastened to bones. Muscles are made up of elastic-like tissues. From pumping blood throughout the body to helping us lift our carry bags, every movement of our body happens with help of muscles.

We move our legs to move from one place to another. This movement is called locomotion. This helps us to run, jump, play and do many other actions.

By moving our head, trunk and limbs, we can change our posture. Correct posture keeps our muscles and bones in good shape. Posture is the position in which we hold our body when we stand, sit, move or sleep.

We move the mouth, jaws and tong to eat food. The movements of eyeballs help us to see. Eye muscles cause eye movements.
