For the past several days I can no longer submit any articles and can no longer see my own profile. This article was posted via my drafts section which is running out of saved posts very quickly.

Things are suddenly turning out for the worse for some of us my friends. I just mentioned about not putting everything in one basket a few posts ago and things are already not looking bright for me here on Triond. My submit button displays an error message every time I clicked on it and I can no longer view my personal profile page anymore.

Our dear friend Starpisces can longer submit anything new as well. Nothing had changed after Starpisces reported about it several days ago. I’m sure it’s more glitches in September but things have affected our rhythm for a prolonged period. I’m sure you will feel the frustration if it happens to you.

I’m sorry if I failed to respond to some of your articles because I simply can’t access your profile pages. I’m not really sure who else is affected by this. I just want everyone to know that this time around,  it is not merely about the problem of leaving comments, it had become much worse.

I’m glad I’ve started at Factoidz already and still can write and post. I’m not thinking about the whys but I’m just thinking about the whens. When will this latest issue be resolved and when I can get back to submitting new articles again. If the very worse happens, then I need to wish you all  the very best and say thank you to all of you who have supported my posts and my nonsense all this while. The future seems uncertain for me here but I’m not giving up and leaving just yet.

There you go. I thought you all should know about all these latest happenings that’s behind the scenes. Just be prepared if this type of misfortune happens to you. Diversify and multiply to keep writing and smiling my friends.

If you are looking for a safety net, you can join me at my Affiliate link at Factoidz here.

Hi Saharif, I’ve abandoned Triond a couple of times, but keep coming back. This site suits my relaxed style of writing. However, I’m glad you’re on Factoidz too. Keep writing, wherever it is!

  • Sunjhini on Sep 28, 2010

i hope they resolve it soon

  • Uma Shankari on Sep 28, 2010

Hope things are sorted out for you.

  • TRanC3 on Sep 28, 2010

There seems to be a problem….it’s the same thing at me.

  • Jimmy Shilaho on Sep 28, 2010

It would be very sad to lose you and Starpisces, you guys are great and Triond should do everything to rectify this.

  • Goodselfme on Sep 28, 2010

You will be greatly missed here, but feel as though you will be back someday. Keep well and happy writing wherever you submit material. I will miss you a lot.

  • sloanie on Sep 28, 2010

Hi Sharif you will be greatly missed I agree, and thanks for all
your comments on my articles. Hope you’re not away too long.
    Good look. Sloanie

  • Starpisces on Sep 28, 2010

Thanks Sharif for writing this. When I click “submit article”, I get HTTP 404 not found, and also webpage not found. I cannot see your profile, but I can see mine. Reported few times, 2 days ago I got a reply from Triond asking whether problem still there, I said yes. I think it has been a week. I have no more draft to make use of, and I have no mood to write anything at this moment also. I will take a break, at least I have survived here for a year.
    :(

  • Starpisces on Sep 28, 2010

    continued..
I have said many times, the reason for me being here till today is because of friends like you. There’s a Chinese saying, there’s an ending to any feast, but the problem is I’m not mentally prepared to leave Triond yet, when things just started to be interesting, especially with people like you here to support my nonsense posts. You write, I write, you don’t write, I don’t write (again, sounds like you jump I jump).
Continue to write with your limited draft ones (can lend some to me, haha)….while waiting for it to be fixed. Maybe you can also report again. Take care.

  • Brewed Coffee on Sep 28, 2010

That is just too bad. I hope Triond will be able to fix this the soonest. Would hate to lose good writers like you. :-(

  • SuperMember on Sep 28, 2010

oh I am sorry to hear that, wish you luck!

  • Videomark on Sep 28, 2010

This is a shame. I hope they get it fixed.

  • Kaye TM on Sep 29, 2010

so sad… what will happen to us now???

  • Christine Ramsay on Sep 29, 2010

I think it is such a shame that you can’t access your profile when other readers can. I have accessed both you and Star with no problem. I hope you get this resolved soon because we will miss you if you go.

    Christine

  • Jessie Will on Sep 29, 2010

This is a shame indeed. Why can’t they fix it or provide a workaround solution?

  • Sharif Ishnin on Sep 29, 2010

Thanks for all your comments. I have good news that after some extra help from Goodselfme, the issues i’m facing have been resolved. Thanks. I’m back .

    thanks for share.

  • Temjen Imchen on Sep 30, 2010

Good to see things are fixed now, it must have been frustrating.

  • mkd1788 on Sep 30, 2010

very sad about you…Sharif Ishnin..just message frequently to triond customer support…and tell them to resolve your current problem..all the best

  • SharifaMcFarlane on Sep 30, 2010

Glad Goodselfme was able to help you out.
Triond needs to do better-i.e when a problem is reported, email back with what investigations are done. Asking the writer after 2 days if there has been any change can be very disconcerting.

  • wwkeen on Sep 30, 2010

hope that your problems can resolve soon

  • Luna Morena on Oct 1, 2010

I´m feeling so sad. You guys are great and your posts are so entertaining. I hope Triond will solve the problems so we can have your writings back. And it´s right comments are difficult too, sometimes it takes more than 5 trys to leave a comment.

Well, writing for the web is sure a rollercoaster ride.
Now, I love Triond and its freedom and thankfully, I have been able to submit new stuff. If I run into glitches, I will let you know.
But what I like about Triond is that, I have always been able to reach the support staff. They replied immediately. With factoidz, I ran into two editing problems, and even though I contacted them numerous times, they haven’t returned any of my inquiries.
Now, I love factoidz. It has great stats, a lovely community and much better paychecks. But it is not to say it is without its faults.
There was also a glitch last month that also gave me a heart attack: you make money both from the traffic and your number of articles. So when my paycheck didn’t reflect my bonus money, I freaked out. I emailed them, and shortly after they emailed everyone about this glitch and corrected the payments. Now, it is upsetting to get 30 dollars less than you were expecting. So I am freaking out this month too. Will they make a mistake again? Will they correct it if they do? But will they simply ignore it if t only happens to me?

Keep writing for Triond, and keep publishing for Factoidz. But never give up on trying to find other income sources for your writing;)

Many content sites seem to have certain glitches from time to time. I’m glad the issue was solved.

  • Jewelstar on Oct 2, 2010

It is a relief to see things are all cleared as of now, though there were many glitches last month.

Glad you and starpisces are now able to continue writing on Triond.

I couldn’t agree more with Sharif and Zoey. Starting out is always hard to do but we must to keep up our survival chances working. When the server finally corrupts itself, we have nobody to blame but ourselves. I have but less than $5 earnings for being inactive on this site compared to factoidz where I earned my $27. I couldn’t point which site is the best but all I could say is, be wise. Life is basically a vicious cycle but shows itself virtuously. All that promotions and additional bonuses if you keep publishing and all that. What I like with factoidz is that there are no commenting glitches. You could make 5 comment a minute or click vote if you don’t like to. I have once stayed more than 5 minutes just to allow a comment to show up on this site. It is the metaphor of raining profits that the site can’t cope up. There is a big hole in the roof but cash just keep on pouring that it should be scooped first before the roof is fixed. I’m glad to see you often back in factoidz, Sharif. We just have to keep hoping.

i’m so happy, dear friend, that your problems on triond have been resolved, and star pisces too. i read the title first and thought, “on no, sharif is leaving triond” and then i read your comment along the comments that everything is ok and you are back. i can understand when the problems occur when clicking submit and things are topsy turvy. it would be so nice if everything was running smoothly all the time and we can all get on with our works. thanks very much for sharing and keeping the updates. :) wishing everything is back to normal for you and all members who experience problems submitting their works. all the best.

  • achilles2010 on Oct 7, 2010

I hope that the issue gets resolved soon and you decide to stay back. If you do leave, then you will be surely missed.
