Are you old, a woman and a Middle East citizen? If yes then you must sit in your bed and wait to die.
I am so much surprised that the Middle East culture considers women who reach 40 as obsolete like machines. When they have any kind of activities they are regarded in disgrace as if they have committed a sin! It is too difficult to realize that women are not dead yet when they reach 40, 50 or 60 or more on the contrary they still have the right to live. They still have the right to enjoy the remaining days of their lives, they can still read, write, paint, lead charity organizations, participate in humanity researches and come up with many new creative ideas.
Alice Munro, a Canadian writer has won the 2009 Man Booker International Prize, Alice is 78 years, her latest novel (too much happiness) was written in 2009, so she is still carrying her imaginative mind up to date. Imagine if the same Alice was living in any of the Middle East countries she would have been definitely the target of merciless sarcasm. Is she still writing?? Come on she should be dead by now!! Why don’t she stay home and stop bothering us with her writings. In fact if she were in the Middle East she wouldn’t have written a word in the last 20 years!!

Women who live alone or with their own sons or daughters  (usually it is her own house they are sharing) are considered somehow the evil witches living around!!
Amazingly in our community the family (son, daughter and husband) is the main reason to put a woman (whom they consider old 40+) in depression and humiliation by chaining her in unlimited false justifications just to imprison her. In order to make her live in the curse of age.
Where are you going? Better stay home you may get sick or may fall in the street while you are outside.
You can’t go alone. Why are you doing a friend’s gathering? Remember you are not young anymore.
You want to join the Gym!! This is a ridiculous idea how can you think of that?
