A message of gratitude to Triond and all the friends I have there. I have enjoyed reading the articles of others, and have gained more confidence as a result of the many comments by my Triond friends.

In August 2009, I was encouraged by my daughter to write articles for publication on Triond. She had more confidence in my ability to write than I deserved. I did not think I could write anything that would be of interest to anyone.

I am grateful to my large bouquet of loyal friends and appreciate their support. I enjoy reading everyone’s articles and try to comment if only briefly. I get wisdom from some, recipes from others, and reminders that I need to pick up my Bible more often.

Thanks to the staff at Triond for publishing my articles and to all my friends for their comments. I have a lot of favorites, to name only a few they are: Ruby Hawk for her life experiences, Kristie Leong MD for her wonderful medical advice, Val Mills, Lovely Honey, Ken Bultman and Fishfry AKA Elizabeth Figueroa for their wisdom. I must add there are many others and I enjoy them all! I also thank my daughter, Angela, for her encouragement.

I have a passion for everyone to have good health, I realize that some health issues like MS, Lou Gehrig’s Disease, Myasthenia Gravis, Parkinson’s, and some forms of cancer are unfortunate attacks on the body that may have no human cause.

I firmly believe that we are responsible for some of our health problems and the many health issues can be prevented or controlled by our diet and social habits. The abuse of overeating, smoking and the use of drugs and alcohol are factors that can be controlled to help us stay healthy. I believe that the chemicals used in farming and industry may have a negative affect on our health.

One of my first articles, “Are Food Additives Killing Us?” concerns issues I have with food dyes and MSG in almost everything we consume. My article “What is Myasthenia Gravis?” is of interest because my husband has suffered with this disorder for over ten years. “Multiple Sclerosis and Bone Density” is another of article that hits close to home, because my mother suffered with MS for over forty years. Alzheimer’s, and other disorders have touched my family and I like to share our experiences in hopes of helping others with their health related problems.

In the future I hope to continue to share what knowledge I have with others and I look forward to the wisdom I learn from all my friends and fans at Triond.

Ruby, keep writing. I do read your articles. I started with Triond some time in Oct 29, 2006 with my first picture a manure spreader and an article about a ribbon.

Thanks for the mention Judy. This was an interesting account of your first year. I’m still to reach that milestone. It is so good to see faces such as yours, that I met when I first joined, are still contributing when so many have fallen by the wayside. Keep on writing!

Hi Judy & ‘congratulations’. This is the first of many of your articles I have yet to read. I look forward to the experience.
