On the road of life, some just have a dead end.
I have been playing games for about 20 years now, I remember back forever ago playing on my Atari. The Atari was the system to have till the NES came out, then it was the Sega Genesis, so on and so forth. In the end it all comes down to: have this game system and play these games till a bigger and better one comes out, then repeat the process paying more per game and system each time.
PC gaming is a little better about it, atleast with a PC you don’t have to replace the whole thing, just upgrade with a little memory and a better vid card and you are most of the time good to go for maybe 6 years before you have to get a new motherboard and cpu. All in all though, gaming is nothing but a giant place to spend more money. in the end you level up one time make friends that you don’t even know what they look like.
This is why I see my future going towards something more tangible. I am in college now going into the field of welding. With the economy how it is I don’t know if i’ll have a job when im done, but on that same note, we could all die in 2012 anyways.
Either way gaming won’t get you a girl friend, and the ladies don’t like a guy who isnt even willing to get a job. Hard to get anywhere romance wise when you are trying to get that last level, or kill that last boss, instead of taking her out to a movie. Also doesn’t hurt to pay more attention to her than a piece of hardware.
Either way, the money that gets spent on gaming systems and games could get you; movie tickets, dinners, gas money, flowers, and other things to prolong a relationship. not really hard to just go out and make an effort to be with her. Well incase you all were wondering, yes I am single, and yes it’s mostly because I spent so much time playing games.
