The title says it all!
I haven’t been reading too much this summer, and for this I am ashamed, oops! I definitely need to make a commitment to start reading more once school starts…definitely.
Reading has always been a huge part of my life, and finding books to read has always been one of the hardest parts. Some many books that I try to read are usually uninteresting or simply childish, to me that is. I have compiled a list of the top 3 books that I have read over the summer. Not all of you might like these books, but I sure did, and I highly recommended them to everyone.
1. Rangers Apprentice 8- The Kings of Clonmel by John Flanagan. I read this book in a few hours, it was that amazing. I couldn’t set it down, and normally books are hard for me to get into. This book has action, adventure, and mystery. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, and even with that fact, I loved every second of it!
2. Witch and Wizard by James Patterson. This book had an unusual perspective, and a different point of views of than most other books I have read. The two main characters switched perspectives the entire time, which gave the story a nice edge. Again, this book was
full of action and adventure, along with suspense and drama.
3. The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. This book isn’t a new release but I couldn’t help myself from reading it again, and again, and again. This whole series has been absolutely amazing, in every way.
Overall, this summer had some great reads! What did you guys read this summer? Any suggestions? Thanks for reading everyone; I hope to hear some great suggestions!
