Not only is scent a catalyst, but the beauty of the untainted flora is as well.  Plants do not require plastic surgery to survive, why should we?  They live happily with three main ingredients: sunshine, water, and dirt.  With only that they flourish into a symphonic rainbow.  Society is very ugly when compared to the natural world.  It may look shiny and firm on the outside, but it does not appreciate simplicity.  The creek a few yards off may not seem important but it leaks into a much larger one that gifts animals with water.  Those chartreuse leaves on a nearby baby maple tree sway in the wind without purpose, but will provide inspiration to a child one day.  Even the ivory clouds spin a tale as they are watched.  It is all up to the person who wants to see.

            On this rock, numerous thoughts jumble up and down inside.  They drift quickly, afraid to encounter another unrelated topic.  Without the support of this stone, however, you may be overwhelmed by the emotions that score through you.  The feelings of alienation and contentment are a strange mix, save for in this particular location.  Being outside feels a great deal nicer than wasting away indoors.  It provides true freedom, the kind that can be sung about.  Staying in one spot may seem like laziness.  However, to those who explore their minds and arrange their emotions, this meditation is the greatest gift.  It is only attained in the most private or unknown places.  Sitting on this rock is one of the best times of my life.

            Thusly, being alone once in awhile is very good for a person.  It does not matter so much the place, but the events that occur in that place.  Since everyone is different, they would naturally want to go off to their own cherished sites.  I love my rock for giving me tranquility.   It is unusual, which only adds to its importance.  It will not matter if 50 years pass; this place will continue to be a haven.
