83 percent of the Spanish believed that light drinks have more calories than you claim to have, according to the study “Myths and legends” that the National Association of nonalcoholic soft drink manufacturers (Anfabra) presented today at the 175 th anniversary of the first soft drink manufacturing in Spain.

In addition, 75 percent of the Spanish believed that the additives are harmful to health or the sugar has more calories than fat (54%) or alcohol (44%).Other myths that many believe are the fruit for dessert fat (38%) or to take light slimming products (19%).
By region, the “Madrid, Catalonia and the Canary Islands are the most credulous” while Navarre, Basque and Galician accepted unless these myths, says the study.
