This is about breaking the physical barrier- travelling from the physical to astral, more spiritual.

According to Mr Lobsang Rampa A highly respected Tibetan mystic  “Our astral body is the ego which is connected to the physical body through a silver chord of light. And according to Madame Blavatsky, founder of the theosophical society, the astral body is one of the energetic constituents of our being which is associated with feelings. The most commonly agreed upon description is an energetic body, similar in shape to our physical, that disassociates itself from the physical body during sleep or when in trance, and can travel to the astral realm and then through time and space. But according to Dr Syed “There are three dimensions of being- physical, astral and casual. Both the physical and astral are characterized by duality, while unity exists in the casual.

Having attended Dr Syed’s workshop in India, I observed and gained a lot which I want to share with you readers.  Its all about our bodies which are not only physical but astral as well. In the workshop Dr Syed used the energy to raise our vibrations and allowed us to experience a higher realm. He introduced us to the concept of dual consciousness. Be aware of the body while at the same time experience another reality, he urged us.  So I understood one thing very clearly – we use different senses to experience the physical and the non-physical, so a dual consciousness sounds appropriate. Read more about this subject on the net – it can give you a spiritual high.

In the 2 day session what interested me most was twirling, which was done while standing as well as sitting. Not the fast twirling that knocks you off your feet, but a very slow gentle twirling that massages the insides and throws your senses off. It did raise my energy levels. This and many more experiments have cured me of certain ailments, real or inane, Yes! Now I can do “Surya Namaskar” which I could not do earlier because of the pain in the wrist which is gone forever.  I experienced a great many more realms and far more deeper journeys than what I have described here. I believe that on a pathway to enlightenment, one needs to explore the mysteries of the spirit and also familiarize with them- after all life is not only work and earn – its about life which is beyond physical reality. One can assimilate all the above in one step. Bow and fold your hands and say “Namaskar”.It’s a way of greeting in asia particularly in India. Its also a journey to dual consciousness.

I’m a firm believer in the energies within us that determine how we see things, and that by becoming familiar with our subconscious state, we can achieve incredible things. This was very interesting and I would love to see more on this subject.

The astral should make us realize that the rest is just ‘maya’.
This realization is strength, a great write.
