November is NaNoWriMo short for National Novel Writing Month!

This month hundreds, maybe thousands of people are busy writing a novel that is about 50,000 words long!

NaNoWriMo allows us creative writers to be free in what we write and to write just about anything we want! Our stories can have a basic idea but we have to stretch it out into 50,000 words, maybe longer, and then publish it for others to read or try to make sense of!

The website official website is http://www.nanowrimo.org/  and the best part is that anyone can join and write their novel in November.  This is a great time for anyone who wanted to write a novel but decided their idea was too silly or that what they wrote was ridiculous.  Well now they don’t have to think that way, they can write whatever they want, good, bad, silly, ridiculous, it doesn’t matter as long as they hit the 50,000 word mark.

Sometimes the hundreds of sentences you write might be silly things, but after that you could write something really great. Writing is just a way of expressing your thoughts into a coherent sentence and our thoughts are more jumbled then anything else in the world!
