Many questions arise when it comes to our freedom and where our nation is headed. I can’t figure out how our nation can afford to help another nation out with their finances when we cannot even take care of our own. If one thinks about their jobs and the taxes the are payed from each check, what are we actually getting out of this? For every dollar that we make, we have to give some of it to someone else ( our Government ). I ask, would you give up 1/3 of your food to the wealthy when you are barely making enough money to feed your own family? This is how it is. Just like any drug dealer, when you want to sell drugs in their area, you have to give up some of your profit to them to stay in business. So, our government seems to work like a drug lord and we are the small guy as we have always been.

If you ask any soldier that has been to Iraq what they are fighting for,and let’s exclude the fact that they are fighting for our country, but what are they really fighting for ? Is it power, religion, oil, or money? The truth is that it is because of oil and money. Our government is much like the media in that they add falseness to the fact or they don’t tell the whole story. Don’t get me wrong, I am proud to be an American, but the facts are that foriegners actually own the United States. It seems that we help anybody and everybody , but we are still in debt to many countries.

 With many wars, we have promised to help rebuild countries and yet we still owe them. The more we give the more that is expected. When will our government help its own people?
