It seems so good to be true. They promise you that there is no hard work involved, no hassles, and you will get paid. And eventually, IT IS A SCAM.
It seems so good to be true. They promise you that there is no hard work involved, no hassles, and you will get paid. And eventually, IT IS A SCAM.
This is so true with most of the sites offering you money. Included in the list of scammers is ReadBud.
At first, ReadBud seems to be a legitimate site. It has professionally designed website, almost clear – cut description of everything, and poses that inquiry and reports are answered in a snap. All you have to do is to log in frequently, read the articles sent to you and rate them. By doing so, you will get paid of $0.01 to $0.10 per article. You can cash out when you reach $50. Sounds too good to be true.
However, when you start working, the problem now arises. At first, they will send you 10 articles to read — this is the number they promised to send you. Eventually, the number of articles decreases from 8 to 1 per day. You will often encounter articles saying that you cannot view the article due to some coding errors or the article is not existing in the database. Also, they always pose that there is a site maintenance in which the decrease in articles is attributable to. However, the said site maintenance is all a joke.
You situation stabs you at the back when you reach $50. Once you request for cash out, they will not send you your money. Even if you bug their customer service, they won’t answer you. They will even tell you that you haven’t requested for cash out or you haven’t report the problem before.
So if you are in Readbud or wanted to join the said site, better think again.
