From the makers of the iPhone,ipad, and of course “my personal favourite” the iPod, have created a new device known as the Apple Tv.

To many of you who are Apple mad, this maybe “old news” but for you who don’t understand what the device is, it’s a portable square looking black box in which you can carry you’re favourite streamed videos, streams, photo’s and music from you’re computer to your own Tv. The best thing about the device is it’s HD ready and Wide screen compatible ! and can fit in your pocket, ! so no matter where you go, you can catch up on you’re favourite shows, movies, etc.

This is an older product but they decided to re-launch the Apple Tv as something new, considering the change to the company and how Apple brand has become such a big name, maybe it’s about time the old 2007 product got revamped and brought into the 2010 era’, And it has ! And they’re planning to sell these devices by the truck load.

The price of this Apple Tv ? – $99 / £99 ! (This is offical prices, to me it seems rather weird as the currency from pound to dollar don’t actually add up here ?) OHWELL !

The device is set-up like the iPod with iTunes, and you can purchase videos and shows from the store.

This isn’t the only way to view videos, Apple have teamed up with Netflix, YouTube, MobileMe and Flickr to bring you the best videos and streams for you ! (No doubt more will be announced if the product becomes as successful as other products).

Prices on Shows ? Well if you want to watch you’re favourite shows in HD ! such as; Glee, Family Guy, Top Gear, you name it, you can for the price of  … $0.99/99p* (*I’m guessing UK currency about the same, as it’s hard to tell until to product is actually released here, but I’ll keep you all informed *)

Prices on Movies ? SD rentals start at $2.99, and HD rentals start at $3.99. UK – HD films start from £3.49 and SD films from £2.49.

As a last note, you can also sync all the latest Apple hardware with the device so you can use it as a remote/controller for the new Apple Tv.
