A new idea I came up with that could change everything.
The Pivot Mouse is a mouse with two sensors in it. One is a laser precision sensor that controls the direction in which the cursor on the screen will move. The other ball bearing sensor will control which way the cursor is pointing. I will now get more in depth on how this will work.
The laser precision sensor will work just like any other mouse sensor. Push the mouse forward to make the cursor on the screen go forward, pull it backwards to make the cursor go backwards, ect.
The ball bearing sensor is what is so special in this mouse. It is specially loaded with springs so it cannot be triggered unless you are intentionally trying to move it. To activate it you will pivot the mouse. It is a circular ring that runs the perimeter of the mouse. This will make the point of the cursor stay in place while the rest of it rotates around it. This can serve several uses. One minor use would be to rotate pictures. You could click and hold on a picture and rotate the mouse and the picture would pivot just like the cursor would. One of the more major would be in games. You could click and hold on objects to pivot them in the game, which would add a ton of depth to even the simplest of games. So as you can see it could add some great features to future operating systems.
One of the last uses of the Pivot Mouse is for all the environmentalists out there. It comes with a self charging battery. The more you move the move the more charge it makes. That way it doesn’t steal the electricity from your computer. It generates its own electricity by taking the heat from the friction and turning it into power.
And that is a brief look at the Pivot Mouse.
