In this article, I wrote about liking ourselves and being willing to listen to others and accepting their help. In addition, I am trying to inspire the reader by showing examples of life’s beauty.
Okay, so I have decided to start this crusade for good mental health. If you are reading this maybe you have decided to join the crusade. This is good because I believe two things must be encountered and surpassed in order to have success in reshaping our lives.
The first thing is our natural skepticism. We are a non-trusting tribe. Most of what we see and hear we are cynical about.
The second thing we need to overcome is our lack of love for ourselves. Some people believe they do not have the right to care for themselves. In addition, because of their personal struggles some people right down hate themselves.
On the issues of trust, I say two things. First, I am not trying to sell the reader any books or any other self help media. No one has to pay to read these articles and my efforts in this crusade are a noble social service. In addition, I drive myself to share, in the most competent manner possible, the wisdom I have acquired by studying human psychology. Moreover, I know I am a miserable writer.
Non the less I give it my best effort. This is what you have to do when trying to reshape your life. You have to try your best at loving your self.
I know how you chastise your self and how you view your self. You, however, are wrong. You are not any of the negative adjectives you use in your inner accusatory voice.
Furthermore, this constant berating of your self will just continue to rob you of your positive spirit. The more you abuse your self the worst you feel. Before long you don’t even want to confront life.
Yesterday, I reminded myself of a life truism. Life continues because most people keep keeping on no matter what the challenge. This is the worst economic crisis I have seen in my lifetime. However, the system has not imploded. The reason is that people refuse to lay down and die.
If you search some of my older articles, you will see how bad my life has gone. The sad reality is that things only get worse. I find myself asking more than once why I even bother to continue trying.
Let me say with a fierce voice “life is worth it”. I have been to hell and back more than once. However, I know I will laugh and feel joy.
