The conception of mass media drives throughout our minds.  As we stall, and allow ourselves to be herded.  Using us as a freeway to pass on extraneous materials to our colleagues and other innocent bystanders. We walk a line and agree to the opinions of the crowned heads of multi-million dollar businesses.  How can those opinions be ours?  The mere middle or lower class majority.  Why would we have our own thoughts?  We the ignorant cannot be expected to think for ourselves, or know what is important in our lives.  We need to be fed.  We need to be fed the grain of irrelevant stock poured in our troughs to keep us full on the idiocy taught to us to keep us from feeling misinformed.  But we will buy it.  And we will convince ourselves that our purchase was justified.  As we the American populace have been doing for fifteen years now.  Keeping our opinions loud but unheard.  All the while receiving the fragmented harangue by “The News” and all that profit from it.  Because it’s not me and it’s not you.  But it is what we are told to believe and to care about.  Why shouldn’t we listen?
