I must admit that I did not expect two of my recent articles to be as successful as they are…

I am working on Triond for one year now and I have tried many things to increase both my quality of writing and my earnings. I guess that the majority of Triond members does agree with me that we are constantly trying to improve ourselves here :-)

I have tried – and am still trying – many things to attract viewers, including Triendster (My First Month with Triendster). I tried “hot” topics, e.g. Kooday Keywords (My Hottest Kooday Keywords, a to B) but that succes only lasted one or two days and then the article was forgotten.

But what did surprise me are two topics that I would have never expected to become successful:

  1. German cooking recipes!
As a German who loves cooking, I love to post genuine and real German recipes. Many recipes that can be found online that are said to be German are – excuse me – rubbish. The majority is not really genuine and I do not like foreigners to be fooled about what we Germans eat *lol*
My latest example of a genuine German cooking recipe can be found here for you to enjoy:
Genuine German Recipe: Frankfurter’s Green Sauce with Eggs
  2. One day in this month I had the idea of creating a post about my first year on Triond. I had started my journey here in July 2010 and wrote a little bit about my adventure here and about me struggling with my first article. You may check it out here:
    My Triond History: July 2010
I would have never expected to receive almost 300 views in one week. That is awesome!

I would like to thank you all who have made this possible.

And maybe these two topics will be some kind of useful inspiration for you. Good luck!

Nice share! You do have a niche for German recipes. I am still trying to find what niche topic I can write, still in trial and error stage.
