There is an amazing number of people that spend all there waking moments trying to find things to complain about. Then when something is done, even if it is enough, they complain even more.

I’m sure we all heard about the woman that received a handwritten letter from the Prime minister. She was grateful for the time and thought that had be put in to it by one of the busiest people on the planet. Oh no, wait! All she could do was complain about spelling mistakes.

I can understand that she would be a little disappointed, that the letter obviously had not been proof read before being sent. But to complain about it like she did, is in my opinion, ridiculous.

This however, was not the end of the matter. Realising that she had been somehow angered by his gesture, the PM phoned to speak directly to her. From what I have read and heard, he apologised and asked how he can have done better. Naturally the response was for her to thank him for taking yet more time to try to make amends for his hideous crime. Oops my sarcasm detector has just exploded.

This still was not enough for this woman. As i see it, the only course left is for Mr. Brown to bring her son back from the dead.

Her response to the phone call, was simply to jump on the helicopter/equipment bandwagon and claim there was no apology. If i hear the line ‘We need more helicopters’ once more. I will walk the 18 miles or so to RAF Marham and eat all the helicopters they have there.

Obviously the lack of something like military equipment falls into the not enough money bracket. If the PM was to say he was increasing income tax by 2% to pay for 20 shiny new helicopters, there would be group complaining about taxes. And I’m sure, you would find helicopter bandwagon stopping to let off people that wanted to complain about both.
