My Thoughts about putting power plants in populated areas (but mainly Columbus, Ohio) because that is where I was thinking about when I wrote the article.

Nuclear power in Columbus, Ohio I am think building a nuclear power plant in Columbus, Ohio. Currently Ohio is the state with the highest unemployment rate, Building a Nuclear power plant could provide jobs to the unemployed . Nuclear energy more efficient than coal and is much cleaner in fact coal plants emit 2.5 gigatons of carbon dioxide every year, and other toxins. Like coal, uranium, is mined. But it is only needed in relatively tiny amounts; When mining does take place it is on a smaller scale and has far less environmental impact than coal mining. Nuclear power is also much safer then it was before. There has not been a meltdown since 1980 that’s 40 years! And if that wasn’t enough the last meltdown was said to have been caused by a security failures and inexperience. Energy plants that run on fission also take up much more space then a power plant that runs on fission and is only a bit more expensive and that’s just to start it up once a nuclear power plant is up and running it is actually cheaper to maintain. Nuclear waste is also less dangerous the ash because while nuclear waste may be more reactive but the sheer amount of ash created in the same period of time as nuclear waste of more reactive the nuclear waste. As if that weren’t bad while nuclear waste is dangerous for long periods of time ash is dangerous forever. in America 3 tons of ash are created a second, all this ash is more radioactive than actual nuclear waste and is dangerous not just for hundreds of thousands of years but forever.

i agree with you…nuclear power plants would fix part of the dependency on coal

    Great share!

Totally agree, nuclear energy will be the main energy source in near future. It’s unavoidable.

Nuclear energy will probably be the main energy source soon.
