Although I rarely regard political disputes, this year was a different situation altogether. Either way, my generation was going to make history by the running of a woman and an african american man. I could not say that I agreed with McCain. To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t paying much attention to him. I must state that I am in no way, shape, or form a racist individual, yet it intrigued me that a black man was running. I live in a small town that still believes in the old ways, which were, most obviously, the wrong ways. I would walk home and see tons of discriminating signs against Obama and Clinton. After research I discovered that Obama was a U.S. citizen yet may have not been born in the U.S. This is a necessity, I believe, if wanting to become the future president of America. The government somehow “lost” the records indicating where exactly he was born, thus, tried making citizens believe he was, most likely, born in Hawaii, which is completely incorrect. For the longest while he would not even put his hand over his heart while the pledge of allegiance rang out loudly around him. When he was a child he was taught that Americans were evil and to kill them all for their mistakes. He was also a muslim and ‘claimed’ to renounce it in order to mainatin a positive asset to the election. My belief is that perhaps Obama was raised from birth to become the next American president and disjoin the Union. His first act as president was to close Watanama Bay, which is where all the terrorists are held. No one else wants to take them because of their crimes. The closing of Watanama Bay makes American look weak. Obama claimed that he did not agree with the way we treated those individuals. Why would we treat terrorists good what so ever? Imagine a terrorist putting a gun against a loved one of yours? Perhaps a sister, or friend, or daughter? Then would you have any problem putting a gun against his head? I think not! We need to watch ourselves carefully. He already broke a presidential law and is now allowed to possess a cell phone where as previous presidents were not, simply because he found a loop hole. To see that our nation is so close to splitting causes such great pain. We must stand strong and deal with Obama for the following four years yet REFUSE TO RE ELECT HIM! Think of our country and the well being of our future generation. Please understand that I do not discriminate him because he is African American. I would loathe him just as much should he be a white individual. What angers me is his views, not his skin color.
