Once in a while people get obsessed with characters in a book or a movie. Obsession is unhealthy. It can take up so much of your time.

What happens when you become obsessed with a celebrity? That is someone you will very likely NEVER meet. You probably visit their IMDb page almost everyday and read all the messages on the message board. You probably even post some of your own topics and talk about their relationships and who you think they should date.

That is really scary. People like you make me not want to become famous. But then again, devoted fans like you make fame all worthwhile.

Our beloved celebrities are such wonders to the human eye. We think they are perfect in every way and would give anything to meet them, befriend them and have them befriend us back. Even when you read something horrid online about someone famous you love dearly, you make up every excuse to defend them. You think you’re in love.

It’s okay to be in love with a celebrity but don’t obsess.
