- The most common occurrence of free riding is when the class will be grouped into a certain number to do a certain group activity more often one or two members does all the work, like recently in a class we had to write a reaction paper it was a group paper but then the other members did not contribute anything, easy solution was not to include their names. Another time was when we had to create a video presentation we could never meet during the week because we did not have a long common time so what happened was me and my other group mate who does not leave Los Banos stayed up late to finish it with very minimal help from the other members and some none at all. Free riders can be seen anywhere not just in class but also at dormitories I see room mates as free riders when they don’t clean the room and depend on you to clean every mess that’s present in the room, also when you go and eat together and use some plates and other utensils they end up leaving everything on one side of the room, and you would be forced to wash all of it because they just left it and its dirty and not so pleasant. Also there are people who always go with you so they can get stuff for free because you would always pay for it, it starts from the fare then you will be paying for their lunch and other stuff.
