On Girls Perspective:

I was wondering why people always says  “Boys don’t cry” is it because of the image?  maybe because they are protecting it or maybe because it is just innate in them that they were born numb and tough?

Boys always associated with hard to please, very serious, numb, cold-hearted, tough and never shows emotions even if they are hurt or depress with something.  Most of the time, if they liked a girl even if they are too serious and wanted her or how they missed her, they always pretend not to show and the worst, they keep denying to themselves how they really feels. They tend not to show their true feelings and emotions. Boys are just too serious and their characteristics are hard to read and understand, but if you already know what makes them happy.. it’s not so hard or difficult. 

When it comes to Breaking-up, as they say girls usually are  the ones who cannot cope up easily where in fact, boys really does. They engages into vices in order to forget. They were to shy to talked it out but the pain always lingers and it comes back over and over and it’s killing them and they doesn’t know what to do. They can’t cry and shout it out. It is really difficult for them to ventilate and release the feeling they kept inside. Based on my friend’s testimony, boys usually are the one has a hard time coping with pain and heartaches. based on his experience, it takes 2- 3 years for him before he forgets and get through it.

For me, that statement is no longer applicable now, due to some influences. Boys already know how to share their thoughts and feelings. They are too showy with regards to showing affection and love. If they were hurt, they already cry and show they are hurt too. They were also sensitive enough on something.
