One of my favorite songs. The first one I ever recorded and one of the most heartfelt for me.
On rainy days
So it‟s raining outside,
And I‟m sitting here thinking,
Birthday just gone,
It seems time is just slipping,
And the more I think about it,
The more it gets to me,
One year wiser,
But am I happy…..
with the path that I have chosen,
If someone asks me can I show them, the way…., the way….yeah eh eh?

Because I remember when I was ten
I used to look out the window and ask myself when,
I would be big enough to live this life on my own,
Who would have thought the freedom I bought,
Which to me, was worth more than gold,
Would turn around and come back a new way,
A precious thing so easily sold,
And I,
I‟m reflecting on rainy days, rainy days,
I‟m reflecting on rainy days yeah,
I‟m reflecting on rainy days, rainy days,
I‟m reflecting on rainy days.
Looking back when I was eighteen,
Hanging out on the wall,
We used to play that we were DJs and then we played football,
Shane and Andre Paul and Quincy,
That was dreaming time,
All we had to talk about was the girls that were on our minds,
And that was when the freedom failed,
Cause girls was all we knew,
Who would have thought that what I‟d bought,
I‟d volunteer to lose…

And I,
I‟m reflecting on rainy days, rainy days,
I‟m reflecting on rainy days yeah,
I‟m reflecting on rainy days, rainy days,
I‟m reflecting on rainy days.
Listen to the recorded version of this song, it’s worth it On Rainy Days on Cd Baby
