In time, we would be witnessing technological miracles of warfare which those in past centuries could never have known, even in their wildest dreams.  Already, such miracles of warfare are in the making.  In the near future, mini-lethal weapons will replace those that are presently used, as a result of which, there will be much reduced losses in terms of men and material and, perhaps, the only answer to terrorism that continues to derail prospects of peace and sound international relationships around the world.

Mini-lethal weapons have already claimed their rightful place in this time and age, and are on the verge of a long-nursed development that will soon replace weapons that do not have the capability to aggressively counter the widespread planting of roadside bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan. Such weapons that are presently being prepared in well-secured labs will have the capability of both precision and devastating effect;  at the same time, preventing civilian casualties. The installation of a GPS guidance system  for such mini-weapons, fitted on low-flying drones, will weigh no more than 13 pounds. There are labs that are developing a mini-cruise missile that can be fitted into the rucksack of a soldier and fired on targets seconds after scouring enemy positions.

Moreover, when we add up the negativity and futility of the outcome of today’s system of warfare, the sum total of deficits invariably show a decline and a near- paralysis of the economic health of our nation.  The revamping of methods of weaponry existing now will bring about a new dawn that will, in turn, usher in the possibility of a meaningful cohesion of global understanding that peace and sound relationships are essentially generic to the perpetuation of life on earth.

There are those that are intent on penetrating the core value of our advanced civilization by resorting to meaningless violence in the name of religion, the establishment of which was never meant to promote misery but rather the benediction of love and peace.

Perhaps, as time goes by, in the foreseeable future, human beings will learn to abide together without desecrating the sanctity of life on earth.
