Good thoughts. My personal thoughts are that you wrote a good article. There are so many things that I could say to this article, but I will not put them down here. It truly had me thinking. Nicely done.

Freedom of the press, speech, religion and OPINION. Use it or lose it. I agree: we don’t have to agree but we should have opinions. I’ve heard it said that “writers are dictators” but this is merely an opinion. Words do command a “power” and it’s our responsibility to see this is not abused but used (hopefully) in a way to help others and especially those who cannot help themselves. Animals fall into this last group. This topic can easily spawn much banter and serious chatter too. I think you’ve “opened a box” here! Words that provoke thought!

WOW! This is alot to absorb in one sitting! I love the fact that you speak your mind. It’s important as writers that we keep in mind that we are writting for ourselvs. Eventhough we share with others, it is for us. And yes good comments are nice, but if people don’t like what we have to say we cannot let that discourage us. Keep it up!

Great article!! Very well written, I agree that everyone has their own opinion and they have a right to do so!! I find myself with you on many things including that you are usually opposed to other’s way of viewing things!

Sorry if I hurt anyone’s feelings. Oh, wait, no I’m not. Feelings are the problem. They come and go, but everyone protects them like they are worth more than the truths we must discover. So now I will only tell you stories. Children love stories. Hopefully you will one day seek to consume meat and potatoes, not the milk of babies. First story soon.

A brilliant article that speaks the truth. Speaking our mind is what makes this great world of ours so wonderful. I love nothing better than to read an opinionated article and take it to serious thought. I never make hasty decision until I have all the facts. When I am finished I may not come to the same conclusion as the next person but I don't mind and I hope they don't either.
