One of the necessary requirements of people is to know that they are not alone. We need to have someone to share our joy or sorrow. We need friends. However, what is it that makes a good friend? In my opinion, the key qualities are loyalty, truthfully and sense of humor.

Loyalty is most likely one of the mainly important aspects of friendship, and it is what separates true friends from contacts. When times become tough most people want to do nothing with you except for loyal friends who are helpful, faithful and always there where you need them. These days, when loyalty is measured in words more than in events, if you have found it, be thankful for it.

Reality may hurt but a lie can kill friendship. No one wants to have corrupt friends who lie all the time. We expect to hear the reality, occasionally, even if it can hurt our feelings. Hurting but truthful friends’ advice is better than sweet lie.

Life is too little not to fill it with laughter and smiles. Who wants to listen to never-ending complains and get fed up to death? Nobody! We all have obligations, commitments but inspired, joyful people who can make our life lighter and cheer us up even if we are in reality in a bad mood are more significant to us.

There are a lot of characters of friendship. For me, loyalty, truthfully and sense of humor are significant for others may not but if your friend is like a twin brother of yours and you rely on him, value it.
