This is a story about the song I wrote about nature. Thank God I won.

September 25, 2009. Friday, everything was setup on stage, the microphones, stands, amps, drum kit, and we already have our sound check early in the morning. I hear the deafening sounds of hundreds of people above the atrium and inside the event hall. We gathered backstage to pray and then started the event.

They have all “audience impact”, but when we get on the platform, the crowd became silent. Whew, I thought we will not make it through the last part of the contest, because there are no cheers, no even supporters, I have there my family and our church families, but they are silently praying. Thank God, he hears their prayers. After our slot, we wait for the result and when they announce the grand champion. I never thought it was us, we have no audience impact, but the judges feels happy about us. God grant our prayers. And to wrap it up, I have here a YouTube video of our performance. But it’s in Tagalog so just enjoy the music.
