Here is a descriptive essay I wrote, comes in handy for school.
Paradise
My theater room would be my place where I feel comfortable and relaxed. My theater room is like heaven, paradise. Everyday I come home throw my backpack down on the cold hard floor. It makes a loud thump sound and alerts my dog named Buddie that I am home. Buddie my white Maltese dog comes to me to say hi. He licks my hand with his bright pink tongue and it feels like a wet piece of rubber flapping against your hand.
Since I see my mom next as she is standing in front of a dark black stove, stirring the thick yellowish curry with the silver metal spoon we were going to have that night. The aroma had spread through out the house making the home feel more like home sweet home. As I make my way to the theater room I pass my formal dining room. The formal dining room has a large table with approximately six chairs. On top of the table is a large flower vase with bright red roses sticking out of them. Above the flower vase is a chandelier hanging from the ceiling.
When I pass my formal dinning, I pass my living room. My living room has three couches. They are light brown in color and feel like smooth silk. I see a forty inch TV mounted on the north wall of the living room, where my parents watch TV. I approach my stairs when I pass my living room. I have exactly seventeen steps before I reach the top. I slowly climb the stairs as I climb I feel the air changing from cold to hot. My stairs are dark brown with a snake like design going up the stairs. Also there is a money plant going up the side wall of the stairs.
After the grueling walk upstairs I enter my theater room and the first thing I see is the one hundred inch white screen. There are three green couches and a door which leads to the balcony. I sit in the room, turn on the receiver and turn on my play station three. I play my game called Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. I obliterated people in the game with only a handgun. I could taste the blood in my mouth when I got hit. My controller would vibrate in my hands every time I jumped from one building to the other. The game relaxes me and relieves me of all stress. When I come down my stairs, I slide down the brown railing. My mom then says, “Saad come and eat dinner we are having curry today.” As I sit down to eat my curry my brother rushes to the clear, glass, smooth table and sits down on the brown rugged chair.
After I have come downstairs I go to my room and jump on my queen sized bed. I open up my brown backpack and start doing my homework. My theater room is a relaxing place because it is the one place I can be alone and won’t have to worry about anyone bothering me. I find it relaxing because it is dark and comforting.
