Read and discover.
What was your expression when you found this article? Well you clicked on it probably dumbfounded by the article and completely intrigued by the title. Well unfortunately this article does not contain what the title states, but rather I wrote this piece to test one of Karen Grosses theories. She is the author of “Cleaning the Bathroom Naked” and stated it her first few lines how having insane things in the title can intrigue people.
Having these key words in your title can be very helpful to increase readership. Which is where this article is taking a turn towards. For any writers reading this piece and probably a little ticked that the title was misleading, who aren’t making what they wanted to on Triond, and this is a good lesson.
When you create an article, you have to write about not only what you can accurately explain and describe to readers, but also to write about what people want to read. Take the word naked for example, this is what Karen Gross used in her article and she explained somewhat in the first paragraph how probably you only clicked on the article for the word naked. So if you’re writing and informational article about global warming, don’t title the piece “Global Warming” and use the phrase 3 times throughout your entire article. Title the piece “Global Warming Killing Wildlife and Melting Glaciers!”
See, with that above new title you opened the search possibilities up to “killing”, “wildlife”, etc. which are probably pretty commonly search topics. Adding these words in your title, tags, and dispersing them throughout your article would most likely increase the readership of this piece by about 2 maybe even 3 times.
So for all you readers who are disappointed and angry at me because you didn’t get to read about the scandal between a rapper, a president, and a diva, I’m sorry. But you did however learn that you clicked on the article for the words in the title, so remember that when you write your next work.
Good luck all, Happy Trionding
