Get details before getting upset.

Went on one of those payment plans with my utilities company and about a month later, got a phone call from them.   The operator told me that if I didn’t pay a certain amount my service was going to be cut off and in shock I said “I will check my budget to see if I have the money.”

Called back a hour later and found out that they had made a mistake.  We had met our part of the agreement ,but they had taken us off (by mistake).   We were put back on our agreement ,but the operator never told us they were sorry for the mistake.   He fixed it ,but it would have been nice to hear anyway.

What I am trying to say is to talk to the company to straight things out before getting mad about something.  Don’t shout at the operator you get cause he isn’t the one who made the mistake.  You wouldn’t know if he had or not.

The big company want their money and wouldn’t admit to making a mistake.  Don’t look for them to say sorry even though you had caught them red handed.  One operator wouldn’t say sorry for another.  It would be nice to hear from them that they made a mistake for once.

Always go to the source before getting upset.  Talk to them before paying the bill cause you might have experience a mistake from the “mistake fairy” (my three year old grandson calls it that).

When you call them, be patience with them and explain the problem.  Like my mother used to say “Catch more flies with honey.”

Another words, would you  want to answer a call from someone who is patience and calm or would you want the customer screaming at you even before you know whats wrong?  Which customer would you want to help more?  I would want to help the one who is being patience with me.

Treat others like you would want to be treated is the golden rule.
