In the news lately, the Joe Wilson inappropriately yelling at our president, Kanye West interrupting the winner and the Belleville students beating up a classmate because they sat next to them; who do we think we are?

I am disappointed with the latest sense of entitlement displayed by a few Americans recently.  I understand if you have a disagreement with an individual, however when did we lose the ability to behave ourselves.  In 2009 it seems like we are getting further away from treating others with respect.  I can understand Joe Wilson disagreeing with the president, I do not understand heckling the leader of the United States.  When is this behavior considered acceptable.  Kanye West could have made a comment at any point in time after the awards and he would have gotten press on the fact he disagreed with who won, but it was unacceptable that he did that.  I think it is deplorable behavior by both individuals.

Then I see the video of the boy sitting by someone on a bus, http://www.metacafe.com/w/cb-Kl3IQTMfc02BiTI9t1q4OVarESePe7bw/ and being plummeted for this action.  Now we have added violence as an entitlement to our opinion.  We as a nation need to stand together and say this is not ok with us.  Anyone who supports this type of behavior is asking for long term trouble.  Are we evolving as a society or going backwards?
