Let’s face it:  We don’t live in the 1940s or 1950s or 1960s when people were polite and honest and caring.  Today we live in a “dog-eat-dog” world.  Every man for himself.  Or:  “move out of my way!” attitude is spanning our beloved America.  People are more inclined now then before to make you or someone you know look foolish.  These people can be our family members, co-workers, superiors, neighbors, and even our best human friends.  

These individuals use tactile gestures.  For example,  through rude, abusive, or subtle comments, biting, nerve and bone penetrating sarcasm, or a well-timed roll of the eyes, making someone look foolish is this person’s specialty of the day.

Unfortunately, there will always be people who fit this description, no matter what you do, refuse to answer these people, return a phone call, or just plain walk away from these humans, they will always be there ready and waiting for you to make their move.

Fortunately, I have some really good advice on how to make life a better place for you when you encounter such a person. 

First, I’m going to place a name on this type of person as a “sniper.”  My definition of a “sniper” is:  A person who exposes their enemy.   In addition,  this type of person is a strategist when things aren’t getting done to the sniper’s satisfaction, thus the sniper attempts to “control you through embarrassment” and “humiliation.” 

Okay, so your thinking:  “I’m actually the enemy of this sniper?” 

Well, no not really.  Actually, you could look at this in several ways:  1.  Someone who is at the wrong place, the wrong time; 2.  You just happened to get in this sniper’s way; 3.  You didn’t perform accordingly to the sniper’s way;  4.  You aren’t proving yourself to the sniper; 4.  The sniper just wants to wreck havoc on your day; and 5.  The sniper just enjoys isolating you from everyone else today.

WHAT IS A “strategist” ?:   A strategist is a careful planner to achieve and win at the end result at your expense.
