See if you agree with me

Some of the happenings in our daily life can cause a slight irritation. Not enough to stress over. I have listed a few that cause a wrinkle in my brow. Number one is the t v anchorperson tease on the evening news. We become immersed in the news and we are offered the “stay tuned to hear the report we are all waiting for it’s an important announcement”.

Then we go to commercials and wait until the news is back on the air. Do they then reveal the big secret, no, there is much to report first so we sit there and listen to every thing while waiting for the big report?

About those commercials when they are back-to-back one after the other I seem to lose my train of thoughts and forget what program I am watching. Often I switch the channel and forget to turn back to see the ending of the program I had on before switching. Chances are I may get a better program anyway.

How about shopping at a store or market for an advertised sale item only to find that it is not available or it is sold out.

Receiving a book of coupons and taking the coupons to market only to find none of the items are carried in that store.

There have been some lower prices at the gas pump but not so at the super market they remain high.

How about having your hands wet or in the middle of painting and standing on a step ladder and the phone rings and it turns out to be a sales person asking if you need carpet cleaning?

How about the friends or family who just come to visit without calling first and stay to dinner always on a day when you are totally out of everything.

How about stopping your car to let another driver get in front of you only to have him get the last parking space available in the parking lot and you must go elsewhere.

How about when someone calls and talks too long on the telephone and you realize you have the need to visit the bathroom and they won’t hang up the phone???????
