Piercings and tattoos have been around for a long time. It has been considered an art only practised by low-lifes and criminals. Lots of gang members would have tattoos representing their gang or other things that had meaning to them, and would have piercings to show off how they were brave enough to do it.

Now a days everybody can do tattoos and piercings. Some people still consider those with piercings and tattoos a kind of low life person or drug addict in some situations, but more and more there are people getting tattoos that have very strong feelings.  Tattoos can be any kind of image and usually each symbol, image, number or caracter has a meaning, thus the variety of designs for the same meaning.

The one thing about this body art is that it is not accepted in alot of professions. You would need to take out the piercings or cover up the tattoo and i think that is just foolish. Some companies have an image to protect, but there are other jobs that just use it as an excuse. Just because people tend to have some art on their body doesn’t mean that they are mean or violent people. That is one thing that many people tend to think about on these cases.

For example, lots of people judge me in a bad way because i have 10 piercings and a tatto, but once they got to know me, they saw i was just a normal person with something meaningful on my body.

I hope that one day people will stop looking at other diferently because of this. There are many beautiful things you can do with this kind of art. Of course some people can exagerate but that is up to them.
