Under the category of ‘most entertaining acts of stupidity’, we find the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN.  ACORN is an organization that has worked in low- and moderate-income areas for higher minimum wages, more affordable housing and increased voter registration.  They ran into a bit of controversy during the last election;  employees raising voters turned in fake names.  But the outfit was supposedly under new management, and had ‘cleaned house’.  And then came this….

     The Senate quickly voted to prohibit the Department of Housing and Urban Development from giving it federal housing money. (Acorn had received $53 million in federal funding since 1994.) The Census Bureau dropped Acorn as a partner.  President Obama was asked  to cut off all federal financing by House Republican leader John Boehner.

     Ah, where to begin?   Our friend Rush Limbaugh is having a field day with this one.  If he is to be taken as a remotely credible source (which of course he is not)  then these people may as well have been personal friends of President Obama.  Like everything else in our country, this has become a bipartisan issue.  Republicans will chew on this one for weeks.  Democrats will deflect it.  And sadly, we will lose the point….  This is hilarious!

     A guy who looks like a soccer dad in a bad pimp costume comes in, interviews a woman who by all appearances looks the role of cracked out prostitute… rambling on in a toothless litany of all of the important people she deals with and her history and potential as a cold blooded killer… even giving prostitution tips!  Contrary to what all of the bandwagon race issue instigators are claiming, this isn’t racism (how in God’s name can they try to make this a race issue?) it’s comedy!!

     So here then, is my message to all of the politicians, media faces, and protesters who will soon be attaching their names to this one (how long until the Reverend Jesse Jackass comes out of the woodwork?)….  You are all morons!  This has nothing to do with politics… it’s all about stupidity and hilarity!  Quit analyzing and enjoy a story no one could have scripted!
