My pledge to humanity is something that is uplifting. I want to save humanity from devastating realities. My community, the Native American community, is a sector of society I want to focus on first. My fellow brothers and sisters suffer from alcoholism, poverty, diabetes, and depression. I want to get them out of their circumstance. Native Americans are victims of institutionalized racism. History has much to do with the present situation of the Native American community. I want to change the way the United States treats the American Indians. I want to create endless massive opportunity for my people from education to jobs. I believe that Native American people should be heard and I want to be a leader for them and let our voices be heard. I will visit each and every reservation in the USA and speak to the people there. I will show them that someone who is Indian like themselves has become successful and has not forgotten her roots. I will give as much love and attention to them as I can. I will use my money to make their lives more happier. Food, clothing, education, water, blankets, and cultural preservation will be strong areas I will focus on. They will have the best healthcare. Their sicknesses will be treated right away and accordingly. The children will receive the best education from the time they are 5 until 18. I will establish more colleges just for American Indians. The education will focus on American Indian History and other topics in relation to our community and culture. As a minority woman I take racism very serious. My pledge is to focus on racism in the world. I want to create a more tolerant world. I want to see people accept each other. I will make sure that any issue that is racially motivated from words to violence will be dealt with in the best, most just manner. If it is a violent, physical attack against a man or woman which is racially motivated, then the law will be fair in judging and handling the case. Racism in government has no place in a just world
