One positive aspect about living in Australia is its multiculturalism.Many people from different countries have migrated to Australia,often seeking a better life than in their homeland.They have added lots of variety to our lives through their cultures and traditions-food,music,sport,art.For instance,the food choices we have in Australia lead the world,with European,Asian and African restaurants readily available.

Environment

Another positive aspect about living in Australia is the environment we have here,the weather is great.We have a wonderful ocean that provides our landscape with the World’s best beaches and a mountain range that stretches as far as the eye can see.

Our native wildlife are most varied and are world renowned,the kangaroo,koala and kookaburra just to name a few.Many tourists travel from afar to see the beauty of flora and fauna that we have have here in Australia.

Location

A negative aspect of living in Australia is that we are far away from the rest of the world.Unlike our European counterparts and the Americas we have no bordering countries.For Australians to travel the world it costs us a lot of money and takes a lot of time to reach our worldwide destinations and vice versa for tourists to travel here.

This impacts on what we pay for imported goods as the costs are high just in the shipping to Australia and this cost is passed onto the consumer in the pricing process.

Things To Do and The Economy

Another negative aspect is that we could have more things to do like in other countries they have lots of Theme Parks and different sports to do.There is so much land here we could have a lot of things like theme parks because there is only one in the NSW,while in QLD there is quite a bit of theme parks and attractions.

The Australian dollar is not as strong as other countries what this means is that things are more expensive from other countries for example,two years ago one dollar was equal to 80-100 yen,now it is in the ranges of 50-60 yen an Australian dollar.
